What Causes Heart Palpitations?

ty...my heart skips beats ...i take tenormin and had A fib 3 times over the last 12 years it only lasted 24 hrs then i am fine.but over the last 3 months ive been feeling tired and a little weak and even after 10 hrs of sleep i still feel run down...i am 60 years old 6 ft 1 inch and 210 lbs..no swelling anywhere...what is going on...ty

Hello and thank you for your question. It sounds like you may have atrial fibrillation again or some other form of heart rhythm disturbance. It is best to see a doctor and have an electrocardiogram done to figure out the exact cause. I hope you are feeling better soon.
