What Causes Heart Racing And Pounding While On Cortisone?
I had a cortisone injection a week ago I my lower lumbar. I am having problems where my heart races and pounds so hard I can feel it through my body. Is this a side affect from the cortisone and also how long does it take for the cortisone to leave the body?

It is not very frequent side effect of cortisone. But sometimes it can happen after cortisone injection. Palpitations should pass during a week, or 3-5 days. Anyway I would advise you to check your serum electrolytes.
