What Causes Heartbeat Sound In Ear?

I have a slight heartbeat sound in my ear that appears only at night, it does not hurt, it 'beats' every once in a while and quietly, it is also in my right ear.
I have been reading things like, high blood pressure or tumors could be it, and it's making me really upset.
So, I'm quite scared, and I was hoping if you could tell me, is this an ear infection?
