What Causes Heaviness And Fat Around The Abdomen?

I weigh 116 kg, 185cm, and 27years, i feel quite heavy and have fat around my lower abdomen, i started excercising 2 weeks ago, 4 times a week, i have seen a slight improvement in my flabby body, but want to really slim down with well toned muscles, how many calories do i need to take in a day? and how many do i need to shed off, to be able to achieve my aim in a month? how many calories are in a laddle of rice? i need some diet food schedule.now i am in chennai

Hi dear, hope you are fine .
As I calculated your ideal weight is 85 kg. So you need to shed off at least 28-30 kg. You need 1500-1600 calories per day.You need to reduce weight at least 3-4 kg per month which is considered in healthy weight loss. You need to do modify your lifestyle, regular exercise and follow healthy diet for achieving a healthy weight. 1 laddle of rice will be vary the size of laddle gives at least 100-200 calories. I will suggest you eat brown rice instead of white rice, because it content fibre and you will feel full after having serving size as one cup of your hand. Just mind the portion of food which you are having. Do exercise regularly at least 5 days in a week and consult dietitian she will guide you in a right direction.
