Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have for the past couple of days felt no pain in my right knee, but feel something is going on. It feels heavy almost, like pressure and have had no injury. I am overweight but have lost some weight. I was wondering what are symptoms of water on the knee?
Hello, I have studied your case. I think that you may be having some cartilage softening of early arthritis in the knee. It can present in this way. Fluid in the knee joint causes swelling with knee appearing larger than normal side. i would recommend you to show it to a physcian and get your self examined. He may advised you to get x ray of the knee joint or ultrasound examination. If there is fluid in the knee joint than it will need needle aspiration. Also compression bandage should be applied so that swelling should not re develope. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
