What Causes Heaviness In Chest And Coughing Of Green Phlegm?

It feels like someone is sitting on my chest. There are no sharp pains. I have been coughing up some greenish looking phlem. I don't have a headache or body aches except in my back and chest. I really don't have an appetite. I am 34, 158lbs and 5'6". I am not a smoker. This just started about 3 days ago

I can understand your concern.
Cough with greenish phlegm is more suggestive of lung infection (pneumonia).
Green phlegm is more commonly seen with pseudomonas infection.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray
3. Sputum culture and sensitivity report..
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
Sputum culture will isolate the causative organism and sensitivity report will guide about effective antibiotic treatment.
Don't worry, you will be alright with antibiotic.
