What Causes Heaviness In The Eyes And Nose After Taking Botox?

hello I had botox just only in my frown two weeks ago. My eyes feel heavy and my nose bridge is lower then before. Because of that, ik look a little bit angry. And I used the botox because people allways thought I was angry. What can I do? How long wil this take to go away? thank you

Thanks for contacting HCM

I see from your question that you had an injection of Botox fro frown lines on your face. Afterward you have had more eye heaviness and the muscles around your nose are lax. This is a common side effects from injection of Botox. Botox is a medication that blocks the muscles from moving so the medication has affected your eye muscles causing them to droop. We do not know how long it will take for your body to metabolize the injection. There also no medications to reverse the reaction.

If the muscles do not improve over the next week or two I would contact your doctor who did the injections

Hope this helps answer your query. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us again.
