What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Stopping Jolessa Pill?
Been going back and forth about TTC. Stopped Jolessa 4 days before the end of the pack (on a Wednesday) and had a regular breakthrough bleed. Then had a freak out and thought I d changed my mind about another baby. Went back on Jolessa for one week from Sunday through Saturday (so essentially starting a new pack 4 days late). But I realized I was being overly emotional and we do really want anohter baby so stopped the Jolessa again. Questions: (1) should I have another breakthrough bleed (no bleedng yet, typically I bleed the day after the end of the pack)? (2) did I screw up my cycle completely? (3) could I have ovulated/gotten pregnant before I went back on Jolessa?
You should have another bleed but it may be delayed because of the erratic use of medication. Though your cycle may be irregular, it would normalize as the medication leaves your system if you are not currently pregnant.
It is possible that you would have conceived though the chances are slim since some of the medication would have still been in your system.
I hope this helps
