What Causes Heavy Bleeding And Hip Pain With Swollen Abdomen After Using Birth Control Pills?

I am a 26 year old female. I am not sexually active. My doctor recently put me on a birth control pill called mononessa because symptoms that I was having indicated that I may have endometriosis. I haven t had much pain between periods anymore, but this period is terrible. I am bleeding black. I have bruises on my hip. I feel like my abdomen is swollen and I am incredibly nauseous. My vision seems a little blurred too. I have severe cramps. Should I go in for treatment or is it possible that this is somehow normal?

Hello,

Most probably you are experiencing pains from endometriosis. You should take pain killers for pain. Go to ER if still in pain.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
