What Causes Heavy Bleeding From Light Brown To Red When On Lutera?
I have been on Lutera BC for almost 2 years. This last pill pack I have had bleeding for 14days before my sugar pills this is the first time this has happened. I did call my doctor but she said to see if it did this on my next pack then to make an apt. If it did. Because my period was light the month before. It could be my cycle catching up. But I am bleeding heavy it started light an brown then got red an heavy now I am spotting dark brown again. What is wrong with me?
Irregular bleeding pattern can sometimes occur as a side effect of oral pills.Long term use of hormonal pills can increase the risk of many side effects associated with the drug.Heavy bleeding associated with clots or abdominal cramps for more than 7 days should be treated immediately to avoid excess blood loss and anemia.
