Hello,
I have gone through your query and will be able to comment better if you can provide details of your clinical condition and the amount of reconstruction needed. The dark brown discharge is typical of the chocolate cysts. The associated hormonal disturbance of endometriosis also can cause breakthrough bleeds and some amount of bleeding is common postoperatively. The need for hysterectomy depends on the amount of endometriosis, its impact on your health, the findings in laparoscopy and any biopsy reports. If response to medical management is poor, surgery is indicated. Hope this helps.
