What Causes Heavy Bleeding With Massive Clots Every Time I Go Off Northisterone ?
Hi I've had heavy bleeding 3weeks ago with massive clots I've been prescribed northhisterone but every time I try to go off it I begin to bleed again my ultra sound came back fine im also waiting for results of a thyroid test but my doctor has no idea were the bleeding is coming from what could this be I'm so scared its something really awful ....
I am so sorry to hear about this profuse bleeding. If investigations have not shown a possible cause, then it is likely a hormonal problem or dysfunctional uterine bleeding. The pills should be prescribed for at least 3months before trying to wean you off. This often corrects the problem.
