What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding After A Blood Transfusion?
last month I went to the hospital with pressure in my chest, Severe daily headaches, as well as pressure in my head they found that my hemoglobin was 5. they gave me blood bringing it up to 8 and the symptoms went away well now im finishing up on 8-9 days of a very heavy period and sure enough the symptoms are back!! i really didn t think one heavy period would put me back in the same place!! I guess I was wrong!

The heavy bleeding is not related to blood transfusions.
As of now you can take drugs like Tranexemic acid to control bleeding.
If bleeding persist, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
