What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding And Brown Discharge After An Implanon Implant?

I ve had the implanon implant in my arm since May 26 2016. I started out by having a heavy period for 3 weeks and then just brown discharge after that on and off for about two months. Since then I haven t had a period at all. Some spotting every now and then, but nothing too bad, and I know that is normal. For the past week I ve had a creamy light pink discharge that has a smell to it, along with headaches every day. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

Since it was smelly you should do a vaginal smear to check for infection. Vaginal bacteriosis is possible and it has nothing to do with your implant.
