What Causes Heavy Periods Despite Taking Utovlan?

Hi there I was currently prescribed utovlan. . Took my first one on Monday the first day of my period. I should be taking them for 21 days then breaking for 7 days. There breing used for edmetreious. However I do not feel well taking them and my period is still extremely heavy 5 days on. I m tempted to not carry on.

Utovlan is a synthetic progesterone. The sick feeling will eventually fade away and is nothing to be worried about. Continue the medication as prescribed and you will notice your bleeding becoming less heavy with each cycle.
