Heavy bleeding with swelling in the genital area can be due to pelvic infection leading to pelvic inflammatory disease. I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper internal examination, get a vaginal swab examination and ultrasound of the pelvis done to confirm the diagnosis, and get further treatment accordingly.
