Hello dear I understand your concern Sudden heavy bleeding at his age is not normal. It could be due to the fibroid, hormonal imbalance, endometrial and cervix dysplasia, polyp, endometrial cancer. I would suggests to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, USG scan, endometrial biopsy/PAP smear to rule out the cause. Specific treatment will depend on the cause. Progesterone pill/shot and tranexamic acid will help to reduce the bleeding. If it will not responds then D & C is the last option.
