What Causes Herpes Simplex Virus Infections?

okay so I just recently had oral sex for the first time... and I was wondering about herpes. Its been 5 days since the first time we did it and we have done it 4 times this week. My girlfriend doesn t have any symptoms and neither do I so does that mean we don t have the virus? and if we do it too much can we get the virus?? and what are all the symptoms of herpes? Thank you

Welcome to HCM.
Genital Herpes manifest with multiple grouped vesicles (cavity containing clear fluid), followed by tiny grouped ulceration which will heal within 10-14 days. When both of you had no other sex relations other than the present partner, chances of genital Herpes is unlikely. When there is no symptoms, you need not worry about the presence of virus.
