What Causes High BP,shortness Of Breath And Light Headed?
2 weeks ago bp was 168/95. Now 180/82. Having what feels like palpitations with shortness of breath and feeling slightly light headed 5 - 10 per day. Only lasts 10-15 sec. recent er visit showed no evidence of heart attack and blood work looked good. Wearing 24 or Holter now but interested in knowing what else can be looked at if all looks good there.
Hi welcome to HCM Accelerated hypertension with shortness of breath and palpitations may point towards an evolving MI.So get an ECG and go for Coronary Angigram by discussing with your cardiologist. Also get your BP controlled by increasing the dosage of your Anti hypertensive drugs or addition of new drugs.Drugs like Metoprolol will be effective in your case.Uncontolled hypertension may lead to infarcts in the brain and heart.you should maintain your BP to Thankyou.
