Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 30 weeks pregnant, and my SGPT is 319 (which is too high). My questions are ...1. Why it is too high? 2. What can be the consequences to me, my baby and my husband? 3. At the moment does that level made any harm to me or my baby? (Since my urine color very dark since one month) 4. How to reduce this level to normal? Please guide
Hello , i would suggest strongly that without delay you consult your dotor so an detailed examination and necessary invetigation can be carried out to find the cause ( as the cause are many ranging from benign to far more serious ) which can be prevented by early treatment As the babies organs have already formed by now it will not cause any permanent damage to you or the baby . Urine is dark because of conjugated bilirubin excreted in urine which is part of the spectrum why SGPT is high . Keep a tab on your blood pressure Regards Dr. Mody
