What Causes High Blood Pressure Inspite Of Antibiotics?

I take metoprolol 50 XR-50 and losartas-HT for last seven years. Inspite of taking this my blood pressure remains very erratic and goes upto 192/100. I have been prescribed to take asomex 2.5 at night. Will it have any side effects on me? I also have gout problem and high cholesterol for which I take allopurinol 100mg and rosastatin respectively.

You are hypersensitive and taking metoprolol 50 mg losartan 50 and hydrochlorthiazid 25 mg.you have also been prescribed amlodipine 2.5 but still your blood pressure is above normal . In your case plz insure that you are compliant with the medicine that is you are taking them regularly . Then get your blood pressure check by qualified doctor after one week if it is still above normal range he can increase the dose of amlodipine up to 10.he can increase the dose of losartan also.apart from this we have so many other antihypertensive also that can be added if needed but slowly with your bp monitoring . I would like to suggest few life style modifications that are equally important such as salt and saturated fat restricted diet that is in fruits and vegetables .maintain your BMI less than 25 do regular exercise . Drink alcohol in moderation . All these measures will help you in managing your bp.hope this will help.
