What Causes High Blood Sugar During 28 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi ...I m 28 weeks pregnant. My blood sugars nd bp both r high. I m taking insulin nd various tabs. Today my dr. found placental strippling or stripping +. What does this means my all other reports r normal. Baby weight is 1.2 kgs. Fetal echo is normal. I have undergone level 2 nd doppler ultrasounds. Please suggest if anything to worry.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand.Stippling in the placenta means that there is calcification in the placenta, and is is normal if not very extensive at 28 weeks of pregnancy.
Moreover, the stippling of placenta is increased in conditions like pregnancy pre eclampsia due to decreased blood supply to the fetus.
