What Causes High Fever And Cough With Pink Eye?

Hi, my son was sent home with pink eye on wed, we went to
The dr. And got eye drops. Thursday he woke crying with
A fever and chills. He's had a cough for a week or 2 now which yesterday
Had turned into a bad cough. This fever was really high but we got it down
And today he hasn't had but a slightly elevated fever but his cough has seem
To gotten worse. I'm worried there's sonethin more. Also pink eye has stayed

Hi... this manifestations like pink eye,cough and fever are associated with viral illnesses. In your case its good that the fever is under control. Cough takes 5 to 7 days to subside. You can give paracetamol for fever and cough syrup containing chlorpheniramine or dyphinhydramine (in case of dry cough). Also continue with eye drop instillation. The child will be fine.
