What Causes High Fever, Chills And Cold?

Hi, I was given metronidazole for a tooth infection on Thursday. I was told not to drink alcohol which I ve not. On Saturday I had a can of monster energy drink and within 30 mins my temperature had rocketed yet I was shivering and cold. After a couple of hours I started to cool down and feel a bit better. When I say my temp rocketed my misses was at least 2 feet away from me in a already hot room. Ever since I have had a constant headache and felt generally rough. I do smoke 1 or 2 small spliffs in the evening and had one approx 4 hours ago. Am I ok to take kalms nights? And any ideas on the constant headache?

Read your query as you have high fever , chills and cold this can be due to viral infection or due to tooth infection .
I will suggest you to quit your habit of taking alcohol and smoking first and consult your oral surgeon for treatment of infected tooth .
Inmeantime you can do warm saline rinses 2 -3 times a day and you can take medicine like Amoxicillin and Diclomol by consulting with your local doctor .
