What Causes High Pulse Rate Even After Taking Medication?

i have been over wieght after back surgery 2002 and got kidney disease form a back infection andd i am 36 and have lost 55 ponds form 290 to 235 and I only take 4 blood pressure pills now and was taking 10 and one was one to get my pulse down i exrercise and my blood pressure is perfect but my pulse stays high after even two hours over 100 do i have a clog in my arteys

You can go for a serial ECG to rule out any rhythm anomalies. In some individuals the base line pulse rate will be high and it doesn’t indicate any significant disease condition.
