What Causes High Sugar Level Inspite Of Taking Galvusment 50/1000?

Dear Sir,May age is 37 yrs and weight 111 kgs. I am known diabetic for the last 3 years. I have been using galvusment 50/1000 for the last 4 months or so.Inspite of taking galvusmet 50/1000 twice a day after meal . My sugar level at Fasting is coming 140 and PP 180 in glucose machine. Please advise what is the possible reason

You are a known case of type II diabetes and taking Galvusmet ( vildagliptin 50 and metformine 1000 mg ) for 4 months . Still according to you , your blood sugar level is not under control.
The reason may be due to :
1 Either dose is improper ( less dose as required ).
2 May be this medicine is not effective .
3 Your diet may contain heavy carbohydrate ( >sugar as necessary 0.
4 You are not doing any physical exercise .
So in my opinion consult your doctor and discuss all these things , so he might change the drug .
