What Causes Hip Pain In The Right Side After Hip Replacement?
One year ago, I had a total hip replacement of my right hip. Now I am experiencing pain in the right hip area. The doctors checked with xrays of the area, and could give no answer, because they said the hip replacement was doing great. What else could it be?
Some amount of hip pain stays even after replacement, It can be either due to nerve compression or it can be due to weakness of the muscles. You have not describe if this pain is present on rest or on activities. according to that final treatment can be decided. If it is muscle pain then it will improve slowly. You just have to do physiotherapy. If this is pain due to nerve compression then it might need surgery.
