What Causes Hives Along With Swollen Face And Shortness Of Breath?
Hello. I have been experiencing hives, swelling of the face and shortness of breath with wheezing. Benadryl helps me with the hives and swelling. Is it ok to take 1 or 2 Benadryl pills to help with what I m currently experiencing which is shortness of breath and very little wheezing?
hello, Grest that you get relief from Benadryl and you are ok to take additional Benadryl. You MUST figure out what is causing your reaction and eliminate your exposure. Anaphylaxis can be a life treating condition. Usually with repeat episodes, your response will intensify. You may need an Epipen or the emergency room. Serk professional care if you can not determine the source of this reaction. Eliminate any new products being used such as cosme tics, clothing, diet, medications, etc. Your medical history may be a factor especially if you take medication or are asthmatic. a Thank you for your inquiry.
