What Causes Hoarse Cough Few Hours After Eating Pizza?

Quick question. I noticed last night (this is the second time this has happened) that my son (3 yrs old) started hacking with a dry horse cough some hours after eating pizza. Trying to determine if he may possibly be allergic to anything in the pizza. Cheese? I don t know. He eats bread every day (whole grains) for sandwiches with lunch. But, I don t know just trying to figure it out.....
