What Causes Hole In Back Of Throat?

Hello, er... there's this hole in the back of my throat. It's only on the right side, and I only now realized it was a hole. Sometimes in the past I would feel a small bump in my throat and find what seemed to be a piece of food stuck there. I'd get rid of it and all would be well, but a few moments ago I removed five or six small... things. Like tiny clumps of food, or something. That's when I saw the hole, and now I'm a wee bit paranoid because I have only a vague idea what it is.

Hello,

Where is the hole, In front or behind the tonsils?

Hole in the throat may be due to tonsillitis crypts that contain cheesy material which may became hardened and form tonsillar stones. While sneezing brushing process may came out leave a hole. Then food may accumulate on that hole may cause Infection.

Use salt water gargling, use antibiotics like tablet Amoxicillin Clavulinate 625 twice a day for five days. If symptoms do not improve, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
