What Causes Horrible Headache, Ear Pain Followed By Back Pain And Neck Stiffness?

Hi so one day I had horrible headaches and neck stiffness this then lasted for A week or 2 then slowly went away. Now all of a Sudden when I lay on my stomach my ears feel like there s pressure and it s almost pulsating. Side note I have scoliosis and it s very hard and painful for me to lay on my stomach unless I have a pillow underneath me but lately with this ear issue the back pain has been worse. Any ideas? :(

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms ofhorrible headache, ear pain followed by back pain and neck stiffness which could be due to ear infection. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures.

- You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine.
- Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.
- Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day.
- Take proper rest.
- Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure and apply warm compresses on neck and ear.

If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
