Almost 2 months ago my boyfriend was hospitalized for diabetic ketoacidosis. One symptom he had was that all his extremeties got hot. He never has gotten back to 100% but he has been feeling better. However, today he is again complaining about hot extremities. He has an appt next week with his dr but thinks he needs to go into ER. Is this necessary?

Hi,
This may be due to diabetic neuropathy. He should take supplements with Vitamin B6 and B12. Pregabalin will be helpful.
Along with these ask him to apply glycerine. These will help him.
