What Causes Hot Flashes After Having General Anesthesia For Cataract Surgery?
I had general anesthesia for two cataract surgeries and a colonoscopy within 7 months. I did not experience hot flashes prior to this. I am 67, and now I am having hot flashes! Are they temporary? Why does this happen. I am hesitant to take anything to calm them as I do not want to mess with my hormones.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having hot flashes following general anesthesia and cataract surgery. Hot flashes are not related to general anesthesia or to cataract surgery. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you.
