What Causes Hot Flashes And A Missed Period?

Hello, I’m 52 still have a regular period but many signs of permini, like hot flashes.... I have used condoms and the withdrawal method for years. I had a difficult time getting pregnant with my 2 children. Ages 21 and 15. I just started taking calcium channel blocker for my high blood pressure. This is the first month for me to be late on my period. Can I take a plan b?
