What Causes Hot Flashes In The Body After Discontinuing Estrogen Therapy?

I had a hysterectomy and oophrectomy at age 31, stopped using estrogen therapy a year ago. I ve never had hot flashes, but now I seem to be having moments where I am warm all over, but not like hot flashes I saw other friends having during menopause. I am 60.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through your query and would like to offer my opinion. Your symptoms are suggestive of hormone deficiency. You need not always experience the typical presentation more so, since you were on hormone medication and this is not a natural menopause. Dryness of the skin is another reason. Try moisturizers to relieve the symptoms. Maintain adequate hydration. Please get further information from your health care provider. Hope this helps.
