What Causes Hot Flushes With Red Face And High BP?

I have a 73 year ol friend who never had hot flashes in her life until about 4-5 months ago. She gets red in the face and her blood pressure goes up and she breaks out in a sweat. help she has seen doctors and had blood work and lots of tests and northing can be found they are stumped. she has a pacemaker. thank you

A combination of episodic hypertension,sweating attacks with hot flushes makes pheochromocytoma a likely diagnosis.
your friend should undergo
-24-h urinary tests for metanephrines (fractionated), and catecholamines - used commonly for initial testing.
-Measurements of plasma metanephrine (the most sensitive and less susceptible to false-positive elevations from stress, including venipuncture).
Other possibilities in her case:anxiety attacks,,rarely autonomic epilepsy.
