What Causes Huge Bruise With Swelling On The Arm?
At the end of July I got a huge bruise (like 4"x4") on my arm that swelled and was pretty painful. It went away after a week or so so I stopped worrying. But I just noticed today (about 1.5 months later) that it has come back. It doesn't hurt. It is just there.
In the meantime, I have been diagnosed with lupus, though the only abnormal test was a high ANA. My platelets were fine. The dr put me on plaquinil (about a month ago) and then the heart dr just put me on a beta blocker (2 days ago) to slow my heart rate.
Should I be concerned by the return of the bruise or is it from the beta blocker?
