What Causes Hydranitis Supportiva?

hello i have been trying to cope with repeated abscesses on my body in various locations. my dr DXed it as hydranitis supportiva. i am 53, menopausal. my father was a dermatologist and i worked in his office many years but i cant seem to know for sure what is causing this
