What Causes Hypnic Jerk After Suffering From A Concussion After An Accident?
Got into a wreck a few years back and the doctors did a CT scan, I had a concussion of course. But the doctor was concerned because one of my arteries in my brain was twice the size than normal, and said I should consult with neurologist. Me being me though brushed it off and went on my way, but now I seem to have the shakes a little and when I try to sleep I ll shake and it keeps me up. Was wondering if this is something I should be worried about?

What Causes Hypnic Jerk After Suffering From A Concussion After An Accident?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Hypnagogic jerks may occur when you go to sleep and progress to different stages of sleep. This is normal and not of much concern. Regards Dr N Kumar Neurologist
