What Causes Idiopathic Neuropathy Along With Gait Disorder And Poor Vision?
I have had many tests and exams in an effort to regain feeling in my feet. I have been diagnosed w idiopathic neuropathy but when some of the blood tests came back irregular (Igm 19.7) neurologist said she didn t know what that meant! Also extremely elevated B12 (1478) I feel terrible most of the time, have no feeling in the bottom of my feet, gait problems and tire easily and lose control of my legs. My vision seems to be deteriorating, it is hard to hold my eyes open. I have a family history of autoimmune deseases,
What is the measuring unit for IGM levels? Probably they suspected few condition like Kidney disorders, multiple myeloma, Macroglobulinemia of Waldenstrom's, chronic lymphocytic leukemia etc may lead to neuropathy cause your symptoms. Usually neuropathy due to treatable causes( b 12 deficiency or thiamine deficiency or cidp or led poisoning or infections) and non treatable causes like amyloid polyneuropathy or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease,neurofibromatosis etc. Use tablet pregabalin 75 mg once daily for two weeks. if symptoms not improved please get it done nerve conduction studies, MRI spine, nerve biopsy etc. Please consult your neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
