What Causes Impairment Of Eye Due To Sheared Cells?

I had blunt force trauma to my eye that caused my safety glasses to come off my face. This happened on September 6th of this year. I am still experiencing numb head and almost out of body (floating) sensation. Does this subside over time? My vision is impaired in my left eye due to sheared cells. Will my body adjust to this condition and how long does this take? I am having a rough time dealing with this on a daily basis. I am now sensitive to light.
