What Causes Increased And Harder Heartbeats With Shortness Of Breath?
Hi Doc, 4days ago, while in a Church meeting and singing, I suddenly felt my heart beating hard against my chest. Rate beat rate increased and I was unable to sing any more. This continued for about 20min. After a while it sstopped and I felt short of breath and tired. Same thing just happened about 20min ago but this time while I was lying in bed. However, this time I felt so much more weaker and was short of breath. What could be going on please?
The given symptoms of increased heart rate, shortness of breath and fatigue most suggestive of heart disease and it has to be immediately brought to investigation and EKG and ECHO is initial test later on angiography may be advisable, if the cardiac evaluation tests are unremarkable then the symptoms could be due to functional disorders, nonspecific, may be due to anxiety. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
