What Causes Increased Heart Rate, Excessive Sweating, Indigestion And Back Pain?

I was seen in our local ER last night with these symptoms heart rate of 167, sweating, indigestion, was weak, short of breath, had back pain, blood sugar 500, and blood pressure of 127/71. they sent me home saying I was dehydrated. What really happened to me.

Hi..

Thanks for contacting HCM for health query.

You had backache,palpitation,shortness of breath and you have gone to a doctor and found to have blood sugar of 500.

Sir,if I have a patient like this in my outpatient department..I would first rule out diabetic ketoacidosis..If confirmed to have ketosis will admit and treat with IV fluid (saline),insulin,electrolytes broad spectrum antibiotics and other supportive measures

Palpitations,swaeting,abdominal pain , shortness of breath are the cardinal symptoms of ketosis..

So I suggest you to go to doctor immediately and in case they advice you admission kindly abide.

Till then drink plenty of water.
