What Causes Increased Heart Rate?

hi i am a 27 yr old male, i am 6ft 1in and weigh 287 lbs and after 35 mins of cardio on a stationary bike my heart rate went to 205 bpm at peak exertion and it was averaged at 141 and i had no other systems is this normal for my height and weight or should i consult my doctor
