What Causes Increased Thickness Of Endometrial Lining Post IUD Removal?

Hello, I m a 34 year old woman who recently had an IUD removed (the copper one) due to bleeding in between my periods. I know spotting in between periods is a side effect of the IUD and opted for the iud removal. I recently went to the doctor to have a transvaginal ultrasound performed. The results showed an ebdometrial lining thickness of 26. I have an appointment next week to do a procedure that will remove a sample to test for cancer. I m really nervous. Any advise?

Hello

No advise as such as you need to go about a biopsy to help examine the type of tissue. A Pap smear should also be conducted regularly from here on. Inwish you loads of luck
