I am 4 weeks post op from my full hysterectomy and I pee like every 30 mintues.. most of the time it is not alot either. it is getting annoying.. I know I have to drink fluids but I hate too cause I know that means more potty time.. what do I do or is this normal..
Bladder sensations could be due to local tissue reaction and neurological effect at the site of hysterectomy or urinary tract infection due to catheterization pist surgery. Rule out UTI. get urine routine and culture. If infection is there, treat it with culture sensitive antibiotics. Restrict intake of water to 2-3 litres a day with 1-2 glass at a time. Avoid coffee or tea or smoking. May take anticholinergics like Solifenacin or Tolterodine. These will help u.
