What Causes Indigestion And Shortness Of Breath In A Person With Hashimoto S Thyroiditis?
I ve had a 50-60 pound weight gain in the last year. I have been diagnosed with hoshimotos. I just recently started having issues with indigestion/ heart burn. Tonight as I m laying in my bed I feel a little short of breath .. Like a fullness in my mid chest. When I burp I feel fluid come up and I feel like I have a ton of mucous in my throat. I have not had a cold but it kinda feels that way.

You have indigestion and heart burn. Your symptoms are related to gastric problem and its not related to your hashimotos thyroiditis.
You can take proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole or pantoprazole before meal. Avoid sleeping immediately after meal. Avoid late night mead. Avoid spicy and oily food.
