What Causes Infected Mole On Chin Oozing Yellow Pus?

The other day I noticed that the mole I have in my chin that s been there for about two years felt sore and swollen then next day it looked like a zit under and I poped it and yellow pus keeps coming out and it keeps draining now stop now and now my mole looks scab like and is peeling. What could this be

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

This is most probably a skin infection, either a folliculitis Or a furuncle; the infection gaining entry through the hair follicle.
If I was the treating doctor I would have started you on a course of an oral antibiotic for a week e.g either flucloxacillin Or cephalexin. Oral antibiotics are prescription products and I would suggest that you to talk to your physician for the needful.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin ointment, twice daily for a week.
Don't manipulate or squeeze as this may push the infection into the surrounding tissues.
