Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This suggests neonatal sepsis with meningitis. The prognosis and chance of survival depends on may factors like the causative organism, presence of complications like shock, seizure and organ failures. Kindly discuss with your doctor, as details are lacking here.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
