What Causes Inflammation In Vagina After Using Tea Tree Oil For BV?
For about a week and a couple of days I would say a least leading into 2 weeks now , I ve been having really bad order coming from my vagina and recently found out that it was BV. This has been a problem once before because of the familiar smell.. But didn t last this long ( 2 days max ) left as soon as it came , with just soap and water while i was showering. So i said Hey why not try this routine again ? This time I wasn t getting rid of it. Then i Searched up some remedies for this nasty problem and found that that Tea Tree Oil was good for getting rid of it. I only tried it for two days not ( Wens and Thurs ) felt as my vagina was inflaming or something ! Now I m stuck with bad order and worried if i ll have some dangerous side effects. Should i go to the doctors and check it out or can one of you lovelys help me out? thank you sooooo much !
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Vaginal discharge with bad odour can be bacterial vaginosis. However, it can be confirmed only by a proper internal examination and vaginal swab examination by an OBGYN specialist. Moreover, tea tree oil can cause inflammatory changes in the vagina, as it can act as an irritant in the infected vagina. I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible for proper examination, investigations and treatment accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful.
